Simply connected to a USB port, the USB Digital Microscope is recognized by your Windows operating system (XP is minimum) as a standard USB camera (just like a webcam) and can therefore be used with any standard capture software.
The microscope achieves a maximum magnification of 200x, which is absolutely sufficient to make even the smallest details of the object of your choice visible. Zoologists, botanists and geologists appreciate a good microscope just as much as precision mechanics, watchmakers and electrical engineers!
With a resolution of 1.3MP at a maximum frame rate of 30fps, the image quality is perfectly adequate for creating 9x13cm prints, for example, or for viewing the "examination results" on the monitor.
Incidentally, the observed objects are illuminated by 4 integrated, dimmable LEDs, so that there is always sufficient brightness. There is a focusing ring directly on the microscope which allows precise manual adjustment of the focus (infinitely variable, of course). A release button for snapshots is also located directly on the device so that images can be saved independently of the mouse and keyboard.
