After some back and forth, you can finally choose your first and ultimately strongest pocket monster in Prof. Oak's lab. Three creatures are available - unless you're playing the Yellow-Electric-Mouse-Special-Edition - and with your choice, you also decide which monster your rival will receive.
So, who will you choose? The green bulbous plant, the interpretation of a fire salamander, or the turtle with the indecent name?
