The Loc8tor consists of a search device and small tags. If you attach the tags to the items you don't want to lose, you can locate them using the Loc8tor's search device and easily find them again. The search works as follows: After selecting the tag to be found, the search device receives the radio signals sent by the tag and indicates their strength acoustically and visually. Then you need to turn the search device until the signal strength is highest. In this direction lies the sought tag. To further simplify the search, the tag itself beeps and blinks once it is being searched for.
The Loc8tor can manage up to 4 tags, and the signal strength is displayed via LEDs. The maximum distance at which you can still find the tag is 180m in open terrain. In buildings, the distance may be lower. The delivery includes 2 tags. For both, rubber protective covers with an eyelet are included, as well as special covers that can be attached to a collar. This way, you can find your cat or dog faster. :) With the included loops on the key ring, you can attach the tags to the bunch of keys or anything else you can think of.
The tags have the following dimensions: 30.5mm x 19.5mm x 8.5mm. They weigh 5g each. The search device of the regular Loc8tor has the dimensions 5.5cm x 8.5cm x 0.5cm. The search device requires a CR2032 battery, and the tags each require an LR54 battery. All batteries are included in the delivery. The battery life is 2-9 months, depending on the intensity of use.
